New Zealand's volunteers have been sidelined.
It's time for our sportspeople to sub in.

Sport can help New Zealand recover

The collective passion and power of sport in New Zealand is being harnessed to help vulnerable communities in New Zealand to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Charities, both nationally and locally, have been impacted – their world has changed. They need support to make sure their important mahi continues.

Athletes and clubs from all the major codes are joining forces to help support children with video messages, contribute to peoples mental wellbeing, and deliver food hampers to thousands of people each week, to name just a few.

We are here to build community resilience, drawing on our sporting values of solidarity, teamwork and compassion. Together we will ensure that no-one goes without.
